There is one hotel at the falls and only a few in the valley, so many visitors stay on the Eastside or in Seattle and drive out. Here are the options.

Salish Lodge, at the falls

Salish Lodge & Spa is the only place to sleep beside the falls: a luxury lodge with gas fireplaces, soaking tubs in its premier rooms, a top-floor spa and a restaurant overlooking the gorge. Riverside rooms look over the river and the historic powerhouse. Rates are highest on summer and holiday weekends; midweek and winter stays are usually better value.

Snoqualmie Ridge and North Bend

On Snoqualmie Ridge, about 4 miles from the falls, the Snoqualmie Inn by Hotel America opened in 2019 at 35228 Snoqualmie Parkway, with about 99 rooms and an indoor pool. North Bend, about 5 miles east, has a few small motels and many vacation rentals, a good base for hikers heading to Mount Si or over Snoqualmie Pass.

Staying in Issaquah, Bellevue or Seattle

Issaquah, about 20 minutes west on I-90, has a cluster of chain hotels; Bellevue, about 25 minutes, has many more; and from Seattle the falls are 35 to 45 minutes away without traffic. Staying west makes sense if the falls are one stop on a longer Seattle trip; see getting here for the drive.

Before you book

Book Salish Lodge well ahead for summer weekends, holidays and the August weekend of Snoqualmie Days. Check cancellation terms and whether parking is included. Wherever you stay, the falls themselves are free and open from sunrise to sunset; see hours and admission.
