The free main lot and the footbridge
The main lot on the east side of SR 202 holds roughly 450 cars plus tour buses and RVs, and it is free. A covered footbridge carries you over the highway to the gift shop and the upper viewpoints in a few minutes. Do not cross the road on foot; signs warn of an extreme traffic hazard. Lock your car and keep valuables out of sight.
The paid lot by the gift shop
About 50 spaces beside the gift shop, on the falls side of the highway, are pay to park. The gift shop’s visitor site listed the rate at $7 an hour in 2026. The lot is about 200 feet from the main viewpoint, with accessible spaces and a level, paved route to the deck, so it is the best choice for visitors with limited mobility. Salish Lodge offers free valet parking to its guests and its restaurant and spa customers.
The lower lot
The lower park has a small lot with about 41 car spaces and three bus stalls beside the river near Plant 2. From the upper park, drive SR 202 toward Fall City, turn left on 372nd Avenue SE, then left on SE Fish Hatchery Road, about 2.3 miles in all. The City of Snoqualmie lists a $7 fee. From the lot it is a short, flat walk on the boardwalk to the lower viewpoint, which spares you the trail climb.
Busy days and overflow parking
On sunny summer weekends and holidays the lots fill by late morning. An overflow lot for about 150 vehicles sits at Snoqualmie Parkway and Railroad Avenue, about half a mile from the falls. Better still, arrive before 10 a.m. or after 4 p.m., or come on a weekday. Do not park on the highway shoulder. See the map for where each lot is.
